Cookies

The short version

No analytics runs, and no analytics cookie is set, until you choose to accept it in the banner. If you decline, the analytics code is never even downloaded. There are no advertising or marketing cookies on this site at all.

Remembering your choice

When you accept or decline, we store that single choice in your browser's localStorage so we do not ask you again on every visit. It stays on your device and identifies nothing about you beyond the choice itself.

If you accept analytics

We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, and only after you opt in. It sets its own analytics cookies and localStorage entries, and collects: pages viewed, clicks and form interactions (autocapture, which is also what our heatmaps are built from), page performance and web-vitals timings, device, browser and referrer information, and session replays — with everything you type masked, so passwords, addresses and card details are never recorded.

We use this to see what works on the site and what does not. It is never used for advertising.

Checkout

Checkout is handled by Shopify on its own domain, and Shopify sets the cookies it needs to run your basket and checkout there. Those are covered by Shopify's own cookie and privacy notices, shown at checkout.

Changing your mind

If you declined, nothing was set, and nothing will be. If you accepted and want to undo it, clear this site’s data in your browser’s settings — that removes the analytics cookies and your stored choice, and the banner will ask you again on your next visit.
